Wood Burning Art: Eternalizing Your Cherished Memories.
I grew up in the dense woods of Odessa, Missouri. I was a young and vibrant child full of life and creativity, as free as a wild pony.
During high school, art sparked my interest. Participating in local competitions, despite minimal art background, showcased my talent as I secured first and third place. An opportunity to join a card-making business arose. Avoiding the confinement of a desk job, I sought freedom over a mundane nine-to-five routine.
I continued drawing and dabbling in painting as I entered adulthood. In my early twenties, I began the adventure of pyrography, also known as wood-burning. I fell in love with the texture of the wood, the enchanting smoke aroma, and the illumination of the flame. It reminded me of the bonfires I had as a child and the adventures of camping that were all but a distant memory. Pyrography became a new passion of mine.
I started selling plaques and cutting boards to my friends and coworkers. Almost every customer recommended I launch my own business. Although ambitious, I hesitated to venture into entrepreneurship. I avoid tasks I need help to excel at.
When God blessed with a daughter, my perspective on freedom and time changed. The demands of patrol work clashed with the desire to be with her. This conflict sparked a determination to provide her with the same freedom I cherished as a young child.
God sent unexpected support and encouragement from various individuals to pursue a business in customizing cutting boards. The recurring nature of these interactions was intriguing. The spark of the idea turned into a burning flame of desire. Slowly but surely, everything began to fall into place.
Now that my website is officially launched, I am doing my best to get to the point where I can do this full-time. With your love and support, I am climbing my way to fulfilling my dreams. Every purchase you make brings me closer and closer to giving my daughter the life God intended her to have.
